AlL Lies
Why does the world,
teach us to be so fake?
It seems the older one gets,
the more they try to hide.
We bite our tongues,
turn a blind eye,
pretend to smile,
and try not to cry.
As kids we speak our mind.
We learn that it's wrong to lie.
We're at our purest,
and most honest state.
Cheating and lying.
The endless greed.
Pushers and users,
of every breed.
You split me in half
My heart
My mind
My soul
You split me in half because
You lie
You don't care
You know
You split me in half now I have to find my way back
I have to find my way back to being whole.
Now in half
I cry
I fall
I hurt
Now in half you
Smile
You grow
You live
Now in half everything
Spins
Grows
Dies
Lives
Now in half never feeling whole
Now in half I sit and wait for a absolution, and to become whole.
